Dr. Trixie Rasmuson

Qualifications: MD FRCS(Can) FRANZCOG (Aust)

Born in the Yukon Territory, Canada, Dr Rasmuson studied science and philosophy at University of Calgary before entering medicine.  She completed her surgical specialty training in Halifax, Nova Scotia and had a practice in high & low risk obstetrics and general gynaecology in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

On moving to Australia, she focused her practice on gynaecology and IVF.  In 2011 she opened Care Gynaecology where her practice cares for clients with infertility, menstrual disturbances, menopause issues, pre-cancer cervix changes and urinary incontinence and prolapse.

Dr Rasmuson is Monash IVF’s Regional Clinical Director and offers infertility/IVF services through Monash IVF Albury.

She is passionate about providing a supportive and a caring environment for all patients and caregivers.  She lives on a rural property outside of Albury and is married with 3 busy, young sons.

Dr. Kathleen Braniff

Qualifications: MB, BS, FRANZCOG, Masters Clin Res

Dr. Kathleen Braniff studied medicine at the University of Melbourne before specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology.  She has worked in Melbourne, UK, Warrnambool and Mackay, before moving back to the border region.

She has expertise in all areas of general obstetrics and gynaecology, including cervical and vulval disease, urinary and prolapse issues, as well as menstrual and menopausal issues.

With a Masters of Clinical Research, she is committed to providing up to date and evidence based care, with a strong focus on patient education and supporting patient choice.

Dr. Rasmita Mishra

Qualifications:  BSc (Hon), MD, Adv DRANZCOG, FRACGP

Dr. Rasmita Mishra conducts general women’s health clinics at Care Gynaecology one full Friday per month.

Rasmita grew up in Albury/Wodonga.  During her training she worked in multiple different hospitals throughout Australia.  She returned home to Albury/Wodonga in 2015 and now lives in Wodonga with her husband and two young children.

She has now completed her training in General Practice and has completed further training in obstetrics and women’s health.  She works as a GP Obstetrician at Wodonga Regional Hospital.

Rasmita will be working collaboratively with Dr. Trixie Rasmuson (Gynaecology and Fertility Specialist) to provide all areas of general and complex gynaecological management.  Patient self-referral is adequate for an appointment with Rasmita.  Should there be any specialist gynaecological management required, Trixie will take over patient care.

Sr Andrea Warner

Practice Nurse

Andrea is a qualified registered nurse and has been working with Dr. Rasmuson since she opened Care Gynaecology is 2011.  She is responsible for the day to day running of the clinical side of the practice and has a special interest in incontinence and assisting patients with bladder training.  She enjoys the variety of work she has with Dr. Rasmuson and is very committed to providing more than the average care to all patients.

Andrea is married and lives with her husband in Albury.  She has two children, a son and a daughter.  When not at work Andrea has a very active family life and especially enjoys socialising.
